This year the Bentwood Raiders made another grand appearance at the East Coast Banner war,
this time bringing along their own castle.

Just kidding.

Here's the castle the Mercs really brought.

A different type of disquietude erupted between the valiant fighters of "Team 1", a horde of ferocious and savage warriors, and "Team 2", a group of lemmings.

The lemmings, being teeny, quickly ran into the castle and tried to hold it...

...but the mightier horde of ferocious warriors soon worked their way in.

Poor Lord Wright tried again to reenter the castle, not seeing Sir Magnus the Modest creeping up on him...

But alas! Is that a Mercenary hiree, setting traps for the enemy?...

The turtle must have dug under the foundation of the castle!

After hundreds dead and wounded, the horde of ferocious warriors prevailed.

Ladies and gentlemen, assess your opponents.

Now kill 'em!

The Mercs in particular performed valiantly, as befitted mighty warriors...or lemmings.

In the green corner we have Lord Wright. In the black corner, Ioworth.

Dreadlord Elric is not afraid of the size of his opponents...

However, that old scare tactic sees Sir Arindane the winner.

But it won't work against Sir Alaric!

In a final effort, Alaric fights Arindane without ANY weapon, just a shield.

As a war debutante, Q tries out some acrobatic maneouvers on Sir John.

"I'm the king!" -- "I'm the chancellor!"

Squire Deidre dared to oppose the legend of Q.

But the Q showed even through the armour and shield!

Q claims her man at the end of the battles.

The camera of truth tells the rest of the story...

"I'm gonna shoot dat dwarf!"

Hey. Where'd Steve go?
